Then Heather McLean and her friend, Dawn Barrett, came by. Heather is the Real Estate Closer at Nelson Mullins where I work, and she and I share an office. Dawn came down Thursday to visit Heather - they have been friends since their childhood in New York, and Heather has really looked forward to this visit. They've had lots "places to go and things to do" since Dawn arrived - seeing the sights and enjoying the Charleston cuisine, so I was delighted they squeezed in a visit to me at the Art Show. Dawn's on the left - Heather's in the hat:

Artist Jeannette Nicholson and I got in a great visit this morning - she tried on my vintage Givenchy sunglasses, and we're now officially on the lookout for a pair of vintage designer sunglasses for Jeanette - we would appreciate any leads on a pair...

Another surprise was Tony Hardwick appearing at my booth with the last mango Italian ices for Art Show 2008. This last Mango Moment became a solemn and poignant moment for us as we savored the Italian ice and reflected on the last day of the 2008 show.

It kept getting hotter - Rick Dean cools off...

I'll have great memories of this 2008 show, especially when I look at my new original artwork by Floyd Gordon - I saw this early in the show, was fascinated by it, and he signed it and gave it to me today - I can't wait to hang it on the wall - Thanks, Floyd!

You know a 16-day Outdoor Art Show is close to the end when you start taking photographs of your new flip-flop. It's definitely time to pack it up and go home.

At 5 pm, spouses, friends, hired help arrive - the "break-down" begins...

At 9:45 p.m. and 3 trips from the park to home in Mt. Pleasant..., the Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Exhibit 2008 is officially over for me. Until next year, and we begin again...
