Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Show - Tuesday, 6/3/08

Mr. Pippin finally comes to the Park!

I enjoyed the air conditioning today at work while Pat and Mr. Pippin sold my art. Mr. Pippin loves people and he loves coming to the art show. Actually, he loves Pat and wants to go everywhere with her!

I understand Rick Dean got quite a surprise at his 2:30 p.m. photography demonstration today - a group of students armed with pads and pencils showed up to listen, learn and ask questions! I also understand we can expect the same for the demos tomorrow - What a great opportunity for the community that the Piccolo Art Show provides free art demonstrations in the park twice a day - 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. (unless it is raining or there are extenuating circumstances).

Are we having fun, yet?
Can you identify these artists behind the vintage Ray-Bans and Givenchy?

On a less campy note, I think Artist Floyd Gordon and his grandson, Stephen, are a great picture of best friends:

Stephen is 7 years old and starting coming to this Art Show before he was one year old - My booth was moved next door to Floyd's booth when Stephen first came to the show, and he's one guy I look forward to seeing every year!

I'll end today's post with this important subliminal message:
