I was going to paint over everything with acrylic but I liked it too much as is...

Above is my square which is part of a bigger and synergetic grid painting which is the artists' collaborative THANK YOU for Terrie Johnson, PSOAE's official PR person.  Terrie went above and beyond the call of duty, uploading over 100 photographs PER DAY to the FaceBook page for Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Exhibition!  Below is the finished piece and below that are some "in progress" photos.  Enjoy!

As I mentioned in my blog post yesterday, we had the 2015 Red Solo Race Cup Award.  We had 14 artists running.  Scott Penegar was the winner in 2013 (we forgot to have the 2014 Red Solo Cup Race) so Scott had to run handicapped, which means he ran carrying Jennifer Drinkwater on his back.  Before we get to the video, here are random snapshots of some of the runners:

Looks Like Just Call Me Stupid starts out in the lead but Secret Weapon sprints

up on the far outside and ends up in 2nd place after Wet My Pants passes Just Call Me Stupid

to finish in 3rd place while Old Enough To Know Better veers off course through some artist's tent only to see Salt Water Cowboy on the extreme inside as he passes all
