Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Show - Monday, 6/2/08

Weird weather this morning though, thankfully, the severe weather we were expecting last evening skirted around downtown. Lots of closed up tents today as artists took a rain day. Some of us came late and left early. For those of us who opened, there was lots of visiting among the artists - one of the few days we actually can carry on extended conversations.

Vicki Ellis, Jeannette Nicholson and Chris Hill shoot the breeze (wish there had actually been one) at the art show corner of Meeting and Calhoun - You can tell it's a Monday and only 6 days to go..

Walking down the Meeting Street side of the show, it looks like the artists here are ready to go home, too. I think Ray Davenport always looks "cool" in his signature hat, and Carol Carberry, like me, is ready to call it a day. Most of the artists behind them are working on crossword puzzles:

Oh - and weird weather brings weird friends:

Yes, this is what happens after 10 days at the park as we entertain ourselves on a Monday...
