Congratulations to Setsuko Lawson

PSOAE NEWSFLASH

Breaking News from Marion Square - we are still trying to piece this story together, but it seems that a little dog (according to witnesses, a black and white lhasa apso dressed in a  pink tutu), created the "High Drama of the Day" when a disturbance occurred on the Meeting Street side of the art show and witnesses describe a small dog dressed in pink tutu tear through the crowd, breaking its leash away from its owner.  One quick-limbed artist stepped on the leash, but was unable to sustain it as the little pink tutu dog raced into a busy 4-lane, 2 way major street in downtown Charleston.  Many people were screaming and pandemonium filled the park as cars swerved in attempts to miss hitting the dog and other cars.  Fortunately, the dog escaped unharmed.  With sudden events such as this it is difficult to capture the "moment" so we have attempted to re-create the scene in the photograph below.

The question of the day was:  what on earth spooked this little dog? Several eyewitnesses were convinced it was the arrival and loudness of the Feed and Seed Marching Abominable Band.  After all...
Wouldn't this spook you?

(Ed. note:  This is a developing story and we hope to publish in-depth interviews with several of the eyewitnesses in the coming days.  Stay tuned!)
