Eilat - The Red Sea at Sunset
While I am actually posting this from the Philadelphia airport while waiting for my flight back to Charleston, the stunning landscape at Eilat is fresh in my mind. We stayed at an excellent hotel, Herod's, in Eilat which is right on the Red Sea. After wading in the Red Sea, I just sat on the beach and to my right were the mountains of Egypt. On my left were the mountains of Jordan and farther down on the left I could see the land of Saudi Arabia. Stunning to think I was sitting in one country where I could see 3 other countries touch the same sea!
