Mt. Arbel in the Galilee
Am blogging several days at a time as free wireless is not always available. We were at the Nof Ginossar Kibbutz in the Galilee region for 3 nights, and the morning of March 17th we went out on a boat on the Sea of Galilee - the Arbel fascinates me with it's towering height over the valley and the history of the zealots in the region 2,000 years ago. This was the first sunny day after 2 days of rain - the weather was mild and we spent much of the day outdoors, walking around Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha - all along the southern coast of the Sea of Galilee. Growing up on the front beach at Edisto, I have a natural affinity for the water and never like to be away from a body of water for too long. Delightful day!
