The Night Before the 2014 Opening
(and I bet those Penegars are already selling)
A hard day for most of the artists - it is physically demanding to put up, stake down art panels and then "set up house" with your paintings in 86 degrees in Charleston. Some are still painting. Some will realize by the time they go to bed tonight, that it's 6:00 a.m. and they just as well stay up.
I was busy in Marion Square from 9:30 to 2:00. Then I took big pieces back down about 6:30. Which of course was when I saw Scott and Kay Penegar. It seem these people were just strolling through the park and saw a 2-person art show - Go, Penegars!
